the little things remind me of you.
The birds as they sing, when the day is begun.
The blue of the sky, touched by the sun.
The afternoons shadows, drawing you near.
The night times darkness, so I'll never fear.
The depth of the ocean, the softness of grass.
The sweet scent of flowers as i wander past.
The twinkling of starlight, the soft glow of moon.
The shine of a candle, lighting the gloom.
You fill my days with wonder
and dreams of summers past.
You make my heart glow brighter
and it beats a rhythm, fast.
I don't know if you know
just what i feel for thee
i want to say i love you,
but fear it's not meant to be.
