When all is dark and lonely
I knows I have a friend,
someone to stand beside me
even at the end.

I never told you often
just what you mean to me
but now my life is changing
im able now to see.

You're the friend I trust the most,
in whom i'll always believe
the one person who'll stay forever,
even if you leave.

You'll always leave your footprints
dotted on my heard
and strewn accross my memories,
your love has left it's mark.

I hope now that you realise
and know what it means to me
to have you in my life,
and to be a friend to thee.

So please now always remember
however far you go,
best friend you mean the world to me
although sometimes i cant show.
